Re-Kindle Fire Starters

How to Use Re-Kindle Fire Starters:

Make sure the fire place damper or vent is open to allow smoke to escape
Make sure flue is drafting upwards
Unwrap raffia from wick end of packaging and tear paper down to the fire starter tube.
Place fire starter in fire place or other fire box designed for burning fire wood label side up. Light fire starter wick.
Place logs above fire starter, leaving fire starter slightly exposed and air spaces between logs
Make sure that sparks from flames will not ignite combustible materials
Use glass doors or fire screen to prevent sparks from escaping fire box

WARNING: FIRE, SMOKE, AND BURN HAZARD

Always keep fire starters, matches, and lighters away from children
Never leave fires unattended
Never leave children or vulnerable adults unattended near a fire
Always use a fire place screen when a fire is burning
Keep clothing, flammable liquids, and other combustible materials away from fire
Do not inhale smoke from fire starter or fire
To extinguish a lit fire starter or natural log fire, douse with water
