Transportation Services for clients

Fixed Route Transportation
Fixed route, door-to-door transportation services are offered to all individuals that receive programming at Southwest Opportunities Center's facility. We operate four routes that cover all of Grant County and on an as needed basis, the bordering Counties of Iowa, Lafayette and Crawford. All vehicles meet ADA requirements and are equipped with wheelchair lifts, forward facing seats, and wheelchair securements. All passenger seats have three point safety harnesses. Our vehicles are inspected yearly by the Wisconsin State Patrol using the Department of Transportation's standards. Annual vehicle inspections are performed by the Wisconsin State Patrol and meet the Human Service Vehicle requirements.

General Public
Our fixed route transportation is open to the public, as long as space is available and your needs fit within the time we are in your community. A nominal fee will be charged for this service. If you have a need, please call for more information.

Vehicle Rental
We operate a fleet of 5 buses and 1 full size van. Our daily transportation runs from 6:30-9:00 AM and from 2:30-5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. When our vehicles are not in use for agency services, they are available for rental by organizations providing community transportation for special events. Qualifying organizations are those who provide services to youth, elderly, or individuals with disabilities. Please call for further information.
